I run this blog on my own.

Hosting and basic logs
This blog is hosted on Blogger, a Google service.
Like most websites, Blogger records standard server log data when you visit.
This includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit.
Blogger also gives me aggregate traffic statistics. I see totals and trends, not who you are.
Advertising
This blog shows ads through Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.
- Third parties, including Google, also use web beacons, IP addresses and device identifiers to serve ads on this site and to measure them.
- Google's use of advertising cookies lets Google and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- How Google uses the data it collects here is explained in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Only Google's ad technology (AdSense) is used on this blog. If I add another ad vendor, I'll update this page to list it.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Ads Settings
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info
Contact form
The contact form collects your name, your email address and your message.
Google processes this data as part of Blogger. I use it only to reply to you.
After I reply, you can ask me to delete your message. Send the request through the same contact form.
Selling data
I don't sell personal information. When you load a page here, your browser sends information such as the page address and your IP address to Google, because the blog is hosted on Google's Blogger and shows Google ads. Google's use of that data is described on Google's partner sites page.
What this blog does not have
- No newsletter.
- No user accounts or sign-ups.
External links
Posts link to other websites, mostly official documentation. Those sites have their own privacy policies. I'm not responsible for their content or practices.
Children
This blog is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and change the effective date at the top.
